Boyd Gaming Corporation to acquire Pala Interactive LLC

American casino operator Boyd Gaming Corporation has announced the signing of a deal that is to see its Boyd Interactive Gaming Incorporated subordinate pay some $170 million in order to fully acquire iGaming platform provider Pala Interactive LLC.

The Las Vegas-headquartered firm used an official Monday press release to declare that the arrangement ‘is expected to close by the first quarter of 2023’ subject to its receipt of ‘all required regulatory approvals’ and is being financed via ‘a combination of cash on hand and the company’s existing credit agreement’.

A new update is out now for Xbox alpha testers that adds one commonly requested feature. The ability to track detailed stats like precisely how many hours you’ve spent playing Destiny or any other game is now available directly from the Guide.

With the update applied, users will find that the Game Activity tab from the Guide now displays not only stats about Achievements but also new information like your specific play time “and more” depending on the particular game. In the American state of New York and a local appeals court has reportedly dismissed a lawsuit filed by former investors in FanDuel Group following that company’s 2018 merger with British iGaming behemoth Paddy Power Betfair.
